【摘要】:Thegel(fisheye)inPVCresinsisgenerallyrecognizedasahardparticleofresinwhichwillnotfusewhentheplasticmassissubjectedtosetconditionsofhotprocessing.Thenumberofunfusedparticlespresentisrelatedtotheconditionsused.Thepresenceofanexcessofsuchparticlesisdetrimentaltomanyapplications.1.1Thispracticeprovidesaquantitativemeasureofthegelsremaininginaflexiblevinylcompoundprocessedfromgeneral-purposepoly(vinylchloride)(PVC)resinsunderaprescribedsetofworkingconditions.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesinparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyproblems,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Note18212;ThereisnoknownISOequivalenttothisstandard.
